TEAM SIZES & COMPOSITION

Team Options & Eligibility

True West Adventure Race offers different team size options depending on the event:

    3 & 6-hour races: Open to teams of 2, 3, or 4 people (any gender combination).

    24 & 48-hour races: Exclusively for 4-person teams.

True West follows adventure racing traditions by encouraging mixed-gender teams to promote inclusivity and diversity in the sport. As part of this, performance prizes will be awarded only to the top three 4-person mixed-gender teams in each category.

Single-gender teams (all-male or all-female) are welcome to compete but will not be eligible for performance prizes.
